    The Culinary Arts collection includes 150 of the major cooking and nutrition magazines. Coverage includes thousands of searchable recipes, restaurant reviews, and industry information.

  • InfoTrac NewsstandMEL Database

    The InfoTrac Newsstand newspaper database allows users to search articles instantly by title, headline, date, newspaper section or other assigned fields, searching a collection of more than 1,000 newspapers, including The Grand Rapids Press, and the New York Times, as well as other Michigan Newspapers.

    High School. Mostly full text. Updated daily. Over 1,300 titles cross searchable with eBooks. Gives access to a variety of indexed and full-text magazines, newspapers, podcasts, and reference books for information on current events, the arts, science, popular culture, health, people, government, history, sports and more.     Grades PreK - 5. Full text. Especially for beginning researchers in Kindergarten through Grade 5. Covers geography, current events, the arts, science, health, people, government, history, sports and more. Curriculum-related and age appropriate content is from the best elementary reference sources and magazines. Michigan residents or Michigan library access only.

  • Literature Resource CenterPDL Database

    This contains critical analysis and biographies of over 120,000 writers and their works of literature. This database contains large numbers of literary criticism articles and is extremely useful to the high school or college level student.
