Secret Services at the PDL
The Portage District Library has secret services… hidden in plain sight.
You might pass right by our job computer while you’re looking for resume books, not realizing that you can sit and perform your job search chores on that computer instead of waiting for a public access computer. Or you may just not realize that we will pull books for delivery to Homebound residents of Portage. Or that we have a monthly e-newsletter that will give you more information about library services as they happen.
The library would like to tell your organization about the ways we can help its members… that are less than obvious. We will send staff to talk at your meeting, giving a short half hour presentation and an opportunity to interact with library staff face to face.
